Ian Duffy is a professional leadership and performance coach, offering individual coaching to a wide range of clients. He specialises in taking a whole-person approach to helping individuals understand how to achieve their goals within and relating to the workplace.
He has worked and led in a variety of organisations, including FTSE100 companies, national education and training providers, social enterprises, charities and schools.
Approach
Ian is friendly, supportive, and dedicated to helping people to grow and flourish. He does this with the utmost focus on integrity and ethics, governed by the EMCC Global Code of Ethics. He holds EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA) having completed the BPP Coaching Professional apprenticeship, which is recognised by EMCC Global and their Global Quality Award (EQA).
He is particularly interested in helping individuals to understand how they are seen and how they influence others within organisations. Everyone can be a leader in different ways, from how they live their values and behaviours to the value of their expertise or how they manage people. What makes a difference is how they make their leadership visible to others.
He is experienced in multiple settings, from corporate organisations to leadership in non-profit and charities, particularly in delivering complex projects. He has significant practical personal experience in leading multi-sectoral projects, often involving several organisations.
He takes a whole-person approach to coaching, with a belief that fulfilment, joy and performance flow from alignment of personal and organisational values and purpose. He draws on a flexible range of coaching models, such as T-GROW, co-active, time to think, solutions-focused, cognitive behavioural coaching, and systems coaching – informed by the particular needs of individual clients.
